MR. RICHARD "RJ" INMON, PRINCIPAL

Richard “RJ” Inmon is a proud product of the Hernando County School System. He graduated from Hernando High School in 1999. He earned his bachelors degree from Shorter College in Rome Ga and his masters degree and specialist degree from St. Leo University. He has worked in the Hernando School District since 2004. He taught for 10 years at Spring Hill Elementary and then 2 years at Explorer K8 before becoming the assistant principal here at BES. He has been serving in this school since 2016. He is now in his first year as the principal. When he isn’t working at BES, he is taking care of his foster children with his wife and spending time with his extended family. He loves being part of the BES family and is excited to see what the school year holds.

MRS. KATIE REYNOLDS, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Katie Reynolds is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in the Hernando County School District. A proud local product, she attended Hernando County schools from K-12 and graduated from Central High School in 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from St. Leo University. Since joining the district in 2010, Katie has taught at Brooksville Elementary, Challenger K-8, and Pine Grove Elementary, and most recently served as an Assistant Principal at Explorer K-8 for four years. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys exploring state parks and local beaches with her husband and two children. Katie is thrilled to return to Brooksville Elementary and looks forward to collaborating with families and staff to ensure student success.
